From the 13 th of december 2022, till the 13 th of januari 2023, we went back to our friends in the Gambia. In the mean time baby darling Sona, named after Sonja is born.

13/12/2022, at 12 am we arrived and went to African Queeen, where else. The birth of baby Sona is a fact.
22/12/2022, I had a few day’s rest, they had to take 2 of my teeth because of an abscess. But no worries, QCell City, here we come. Babies and balls, 2 swimming pool(s), one without water, you should try it. And I kicked the guy’s there ass on the table soccer game.
25/12/2022, Chrismass. After dancing last night until 5 am, Sonja still was in the mood. This is a local cultural dance festival in Darsilami, all the people from the nearby villlage come to battle eachother on the dancefloor, read sand. Magnificant expieriance, everybody should try it. Sonja is still famous there.
27/12/2022, chilling at Sally’s 24. On Chrismass eve we dansed until 5 am so we still could use a breack.
29/12/2022, left the festival from Chrismass eve. Kadijatoe is preparing Sonja’s hair for a wedding.
30/12/2022, ready, with local made clothes, for a local wedding. Just like Chrismass eve and chrismass itself, dancing was number one on the list.
30/12/2022, The bougie man is visitinng Amadou’s compound where we stay. Hot suit for 33 degrees.
02/01/2023, a new year, a new day at the beach, what else. New years eve we all spent at African Queen, what a surprise 🙂
06/01/2023, cultural festival at Brikama Mara Kissa. Not so far from where will buy ground.
07/01/2023, our own Gelly Gelly, is soled now to suport our friend Sobey who’s house burned down.

08/01/2023, a day with our tubab friends Patricia, Annie and Rudy, real Gamia fans.
09/01/2023, at the compound (where we stayed most of the time )of my best Gambian friend Amadou. Sisse, the colored one, has new brothers, they will be eaten at Tobaski, he not, unfortunatly, in the mean time he is stolen and probably eaten, life sucks and then you die.
10/01/2023, Sanyang, a very nice beach area where you realy can find peace. This is the Eco Lodge which has very nice painting all over the place.
12/01/2023, Benjamin, a very serious guy, baked his second cupcakes with advice from us tubabs, these were delisious, the first try we just forget.
12/01/2023, the last evening with a new tubab friends we met a few days ago. Anties bar, the best place in Darsilami. We love Antie, more about that in other stories. Left to right, Eric, me, Sonja, shoeke for me, Anty herself and Lieke.
13/01/2023, direction Belgium, stop in Cape Verde, again we will miss The Gambia, the peace and the lovely people… to be continued.
