From the 14 th april 2022, till the 7 th of may, we where on vacation in The Gambia for the first time. We only new some people true Whats Up. This is our first story by a matter of speaking.
14 April ’22, we arive at night in Banjul International Airport. Our new friends, who we saw for the first time, picked us up. From here we drove to an house we rented.
15/04/2022, our first morning and coffee’s in the rented house. From the left to the wright, Kawso, Molamin, Sonja, Able, Neyma and Awa.
15/04/2022 ready for dinner, then the dishes.
17/04/2022, Tangi, the most imported fishmarked of The Gambia. Very nice fish for very attractive prices, that’s for shore.
17/04/2022, for the first time at the beach, chilling and enjoying.
19/04/2022, having meatballs with tomato sause. Only for the children, it was still Ramadam.
20/04/2022, we start a few day’s trip, on our way to go to our first destination, the village of Amadou.
21/04/2022, visiting the school and the principal.
21/04/2022, we meet a new friend, Silver, a great man with a very big hart and a strong vision on the society and politics of The Gambia.
21/04/2022, at Silver’s restaurant, the money he makes goes to food for the children who live on the street. He also learns them the alphabet and simple calculations.
21/04/2022, at the village eating the traditional Gambian way, with phone’s as light. Believe me, this creates a special band among people, try it yourself.
23/04/2022, lucky us, chilling at the beach before going to Monkey Park.
23/04/2022, this is Monkey Park I think. Very nice place to relax among the monkeys. But take care of your bag with peanuts, these guys are very strong in helping you to get rid of it 🙂

24/04/2022, again Neyma is making great dinner, I think it was a traditional dish.
25/04/2022, if you like seafood, The Gamia is a paradise, so are the prices.
26/04/2022, Sonja is helping the woman in a local village, packing onions for sale.

29/04/2022, this is a big mother fucker, really impresive, aspecially if the distance is not much more than 1 meter.
01/05/2022, Camp Tendaba, a beautifull place with beautifull people. Just don’t forget to open your musquito net at night 🙂
